This web application streamlines hospital operations by centralizing patient data, managing staff, and configuring hospital settings. It supports medical records, OT bookings, appointments, and patient history tracking, enabling better care through organized and accessible information.
Features
Hospital Admin
- Manage hospital configurations, including OT and appointment systems, customizable prescriptions, and bed arrangements.
- Hire andmanage staff, sboth medical and non-medical, and oversee their roles in the hospital.
- Offer flat/percentage discounts, BOGO deals, and schedule happy hour promotions.
- Employ and supervise both medical and non-medical staff in the hospital.


Patient Records
- Securely store patient records, including vital signs, medical history, and ongoing treatments, ensuring quick access for healthcare professionals.
Clinician and Non-Clinician Staff
- Register patients and input vital signs and medical records.
- Assign Corders and consultations based on user roles and permissions.
- Perform tasks assigned by doctors at the patient level and update the status as required.


Super Admin
- Create and onboard hospitals, assigning the main hospital admin to manage staff and configurations.
- Perform all actions on the platform, including registering patients and staff members.
Booking Management
- Streamline the booking process for operation theatres (OT) and outpatient departments (OPD) to optimize resource allocation and scheduling

- Facilitate seamless communication between staff members through an integrated messaging system, improving collaboration and coordination.
Goals & Challenges
Goals
The system aims to digitize traditional pen-and-paper record-keeping by consolidating hospital management processes onto a single platform. The primary goal of this project is to provide a secure platform for managing hospital operations and safeguarding sensitive medical data. Advanced algorithms have been implemented to ensure data security. This solution not only modernizes hospital workflows but also enhances data security and accessibility.
Challenges
Displaying Patient Medical Data
The challenge was to present extensive patient medical data in a clean, organized manner, ensuring ease of access while maintaining clarity despite the large volume of information.
Accessible Notes Area
Implementing a notes section that could be accessed from any tab within the patient dashboard was challenging. This required handling a large amount of data while ensuring the notes drawer was always available without disrupting or cluttering other crucial information.
Ensuring Confidentiality of Patient Medical Data
We faced challenges in maintaining data confidentiality due to the inclusion of patients' medical histories. To address this, we implemented encryption at multiple levels and followed strict security measures to ensure the data remains secure and confidential.
Performance
The system is designed to support multiple hospitals, enabling efficient staff onboarding and seamless record management. It ensures reliability to handle high traffic and concurrent users during peak hours. Currently, the system is optimized to support up to 300 concurrent users, with a stable server infrastructure capable of managing this load effectively.
Process
The process begins with discovery, where we analyze hospital workflows and define project goals. In the UX phase, we map intuitive user journeys to address user needs, followed by UI design, creating a visually appealing and accessible interface. Finally, the development phase brings the application to life, ensuring seamless functionality and secure, scalable performance.

Visual Design
The visual design emphasizes a clean, intuitive interface with a professional color palette, clear typography, and consistent elements. It ensures easy navigation and accessibility, tailored for hospital staff to enhance usability across devices.

Minimalistic Iconography
In Onehealth, simple icons improve comprehension. Users are easily guided by straightforward, broadly recognized symbols, which guarantees a flawless and enjoyable experience.
